State School Superintendent

There is an incumbent in the 2026 race for State School Superintendent, Richard Woods (Rep). Mr. Woods is apparently being challenged in the primary by several Republican candidates. Woods has been State Superintendent for 3 terms.. Currently, three Democratic candidates have filed intent forms to run for Secretary of State. They are listed below.

The Dade County Democratic Committee will not endorse any Democratic candidate in the upcoming 2026 primary for State Superintendent of Schools.
