Public Service Commission
Special Election

With only these low-turnout special elections this year, we can make both a statement and have a larger-than-normal impact by simply turning out to vote. And an even more convenient way to do that in elections this small is by voting absentee. (NOTE: If you live in Trenton, there will also be non-partisan municipal elections this November 4th on general election day.)

The window is open to request an absentee ballot for the primary election on June 17th. We can mail you a blank request form for an absentee ballot if you want. Just reply to this email with your address and how many request forms you need. You can also access the form online at the Secretary of State's website here.

Again, the Democratic Primary date is June 17th. If and when you fill out an absentee request, remember to put that date on line 1, and check the "Democratic" box on Line 3 to vote in our primary. All lines on the front side of the request have to be filled out, the top line on the back has to have your name on it, and again, if you qualify, you can request an automatic absentee ballot be sent for the November election by checking the appropriate box on Line 12.

There will be early voting 3 weeks in advance of both the primary and general elections. That will be located in Trenton at the Administrative Building. Election day voting will be at your home precinct.
