Georgia Labor Commissioner
There is an appointed incumbent in the 2026 race for Labor Commissioner, Barbara Rivera Holmes. Ms Holmes (Rep).was appointed by Governor Kemp less than one year ago and has never successfully ran for the office. At the moment, she is the only Republican listed as running. On the Democratic side, seven candidates have filed; four of those have filed and have websites. A fifth has had a website in the past but currently does not, and the other two do not have any website up to date.
The Dade County Democratic Committee will not endorse any Democratic candidate in the upcoming 2026 primary for Labor Commissioner.
